I've yet to see a Launcher that refused to run a game because it couldn't connect to the Internet, so I have no idea why you are spouting crap here.

Fallout: New Vegas uses a Launcher, especially for Mods. So I really don't understand your insistence that Launchers make games unplayable for you. What is that exactly? Can't I just reduce attacks to one action point and have the unit continue normally? Has anyone actually ever tried doing something like that?
